The authors of the draft law “On the protection of children from information harmful to their health and development” propose to completely protect persons under 18 years of age from information containing foul language, encouraging people to use drugs, tobacco and alcohol, “justifying the admissibility of violence and cruelty,” and also promoting "Denial of family values".
A complete ban is also proposed to introduce pornography and calls for "committing criminal offenses." The “information” in the project refers to media products, books, films, computer games and “other audiovisual products on any type of media” distributed via the Internet, mobile communications and “through public entertainment events”.
