Velorama.net: Reloaded

Hello community!

An idea discovers value in its implementation.
I didn’t manage to part with the Velorama.net domain, although I sincerely believed that someone would like (be able) to take everything into their own hands and bring the matter to a logical outcome.
But the miracle did happen, for Velorama an excellent engine with social functionality was found - Livestreet .

So, I invite you to participate in the new project dedicated to the bike / cyclists / pokatushkam / maps / alkobayku / and much more. We are trying to create a convenient platform for the emergence and development of the cycling amateur community, where cyclists, regardless of their professional level, bike model, riding style, etc., can find interesting interlocutors, jointly organize events, pokatushki, share impressions about the routes traveled, get advice or find an answer on how to customize the bike or the choice of equipment, etc ...

Unfortunately, I am not particularly familiar with programming, my knowledge in the field of web development is only enough to install the engine and the minimum setting, so I turned to my friend and colleague, Alexey , for help, and we continued.
Alexey implemented the route editor based on the Yandex.Maps API, in order to test the editor, when writing a topic, you need to select the “compass with a pencil” tool. The map is shown in relation to the user's profile (if a city is indicated, then it is automatically focused on it, otherwise Odessa is shown :)) You can mark the route with a label on the map
With a brief description, the route length is calculated automatically.
')
From the planned:
- integration with catalogs or online shops (for example, by clicking on the bike model specified by the user in the profile, the corresponding offer of the bike shop will be opened, etc.);
- the general user velocard with layers: cycle shops, THAT, parkings, etc .;
- the ability to export a map with a route in the form of a static image or as a code to be inserted into your website / blog.

I hope many of you, like us, love to ride a bike, in this case, welcome you to the Veloram !

Threat very much welcome constructive criticism, and would be very pleased with all kinds of support and assistance.
