So far, developers
have reported two versions:
Grails 1.2 “Bedivere” promises to be a release aimed at stability: updating the main components (including Spring to version 3.0), switching from Jetty to Tomcat, separating WebFlow into a separate plug-in, as well as GSP as an independent solution. Release is expected in June 2009.
Grails 2.0 "Galahad" aims to focus on the modularity of plug-ins using OSGi technology.

In parallel with these releases, active work will be done on plugins for working with JPA, JCR, Portlet & Flex.
PS Future releases got their names in honor of the knights of King Arthur’s round table, in particular, Galahad, according to legend, found the holy Grail.
