Gameplay


After a week of work on the game 3rdEye laid it out in Markete. The idea is to transfer the RPG style to the real world, and therefore called the direction of the game as RPG Real Life (RPGRL). The plot on the first milestone is still simple - your location is displayed on the map (only GPS is used, because the accuracy of the data is important), various creatures run around that you want to destroy, for which experience is given. Long-term destruction of them can be tedious, because for this you need to hold the phone in your hand, and when the monster is near, beat it. The accelerometer is used to read the gestures, the damage to the creature is determined not by the physical force of the strike, which is important to mark, but by the player’s level. The level in turn is determined by the amount of experience, which also affects the number of lives. You can also shoot down enemies with a car, but very little experience is given for this.

Creatures


Each creature is characterized by several parameters, such as the level, number of lives, armor, run speed, impact force, frequency of attack, the distance from which it sees you, and the distance from which it can attack. At the same time, creatures of different levels can be present on the map; those whose level is greater than or approximately equal to yours will try to catch up and beat you, the weaker will run away as soon as they see you. Naturally, the amount of experience given for killing is determined by the difference between your level and the level of the creature. In turn, the strength of the enemies appearing on the map depends on the strength of the player, so the more you pump, the more severe opponents will appear.

Perspectives


Even the simple destruction of creatures with fists is fascinating, but even more interesting opens up if you add other players' maps on the map, items, weapons, exchange them with each other, perform quest, the ability to join groups and clans. It’s not just physical fitness - constant hand movements, when there are few enemies, or feet, when you have to run away from their large clusters, is the effect of all the factors of real life on the actions in the game.


What for?


I publish it with two goals - firstly, to hear feedback on such a direction of games, maybe even about practical use, there are few devphons in our country, and, secondly, to provide any pieces of code to those who want and are interested in the Android platform. Well, if someone expresses a desire to take part in the design of new versions, writing code or thinking through the gameplay - what objections can there be)
