Stereo camera on sale soon

And the other day there was information that the product is already ready to be launched into mass production and will go on sale before the end of 2009. At first, the camera will be sold only in Japan.



Chip camera (the name she has not yet) - two lenses. And a special function Built-in 3D Auto, which calculates the relative distance to various objects in the scene and sets the optimal settings for the left and right lenses. The resulting images from both matrices (yes, there are also two of them) are processed with a special Real Photo Processor 3D processor. Which, combining images, creates from them a volumetric photo or video. It is noteworthy that you can view 3D images without special glasses: the special display of the device is responsible for this.

To answer the question of where else to view the photographs received except on the small display of the camera itself, FujiFilm also prepared. Announcing the imminent entry into the market of a 8.4-inch FinePix Real 3D Photo Frame, equipped with the same display as the camera.
