"The right driver." Project Diary. Part 2. Development and support.
Two weeks have passed since the official launch of my project “The Right Driver ”. Today I want to tell you how much it cost me to develop and fill with turnkey content. The previous notes are in my blog on Habré.
Since this is my personal project, I decided not to use the resources of the company and, at the same time, spend the minimum amount needed. A clear idea of the direction of the resource and the idea of some scandal greatly simplified the task of design and structure and, as shown by further experience, contributed to the promotion.
I have been working on the web since the 98th year, so the design was made by myself - 16 hours;
I ordered the layout of the minimum number of standard pages on the side - $ 80 + many thanks to the wonderful girl Julia from Ukraine, who did everything simply, quickly and efficiently;
Connection to CMS-ke + template submission - 40 hours of my work;
Domain name in the zone * .by - 130000 Bel. rubles or ~ 45 dollars;
Hosting is free, on the server of my company, I repent;
Marketer - took in the future share in the project, while free;

Bottom line: net development spent $ 125 + ~ 60 hours of clean work, not counting the time to think about all sorts of things for the site. But, since this is thinking about “high”, I suggest not counting :)
Materials for the site in the section "School" provided Yuri Krasnov, thank you very much for that! They are enough for another two or three months.
I generate road situations and prescribe it myself, the Minsk State Traffic Inspectorate gives an official assessment according to the rules, and Krasnov again acts as an expert. There are still no less reputable experts, but they are still in stock, waiting in the wings.
The lawyer of the project is the husband of my wife's sister, so legal assistance is provided for a while as a relative (cognac does not count).
Guided by the desire not to spend money, I posted on the website of the "Right Driver" a request for free help from the flasher to "unlock" situations. And such a man appeared. He is still moving for free, but as soon as the money goes to the project, I will pay him normally. What else?
Drawing and describing new traffic situations, inventing and posting news, working with questions and answers is my piece of work. Every day, enough hours. Now it seems everything.
Dry residue: spent $ 125 net, support is free for now (again, my labor costs do not count).
It will be much more interesting! In a couple of days I will publish on Habré as I began to promote the site and what came of it. And then I will tell you how I earned my first money and financially “beat off” the project.
