"And yet she spins!"Galileo Galilei, 1633
For me, familiarity with indie games began with the
topic on Habré , and continued on the
Experimental Gameplay website, where I played the
predecessor of World of Goo . Then came the entertaining
Crayon Physics (whose final version was recently released), which took the main place at last year's
Independent Games Festival . The festival, by the way, was held last month, the finalists are
published on the site, the prize-winners
are selected .

Now it was discovered the existence of And Yet It Moves - a logical platformer, whose idea has already been encountered in the flash
Shift (which has two continuations). The hero of the game consists of paper fragments, like the whole flat world, which is spinning in all directions. Management is simple, as in Tetris, - left-right-jump and turn the screen. It is possible to control the gamepad, but the screen rotation here is only 90 and 180 degrees, so the analog controller does not feel superior to the keyboards.

It looks like a banal prohodilka, but already in the demo you can compete with world records. The system is the same as Trackmania's single - there is a hero and a ghost, so for a while there is a competition, whose paper man is the fastest and most agile. Just do not want to chase, the sounds and views of the world here are too close to Crayon Physics, which causes a desire to wander through the maps, and not find the shortest way to the exit.
The demo is available
on the official website (there is a version for mac) and
via Steam .
