The very popular Validation plugin from Jörn Zaefferer has been
updated to version 1.5.2 , which includes an
example of integration with jQuery UI Tabs.
DataTables : uses a “progressive extension” to convert a static HTML table into a much more dynamic data table.

UI.Layout : Allows you to "create any UI look you want - from simple headers or sidebars, to an integrated application with toolbars, menus, reference panels, status bars and nested forms."
Although not currently part of the
jQuery UI project, it nevertheless allows you to combine it with jQuery UI widgets "to create a complex application."
