Created text editor on flash

Startup Virtual Ubiquity has joined the number of companies that develop online text editors. A feature of the program Buzzword is that the text editor is created on Flex 2.0 and works through Flash Player.

True, there is nothing on the company's website, except for two screenshots and a list of publications . However, the February alpha version of the program was already demonstrated at the Adobe Engage Event conference.

According to the director of the company Virtual Ubiquity, the use of the Flex 2.0 platform has allowed developers to significantly improve the functionality and appearance of the program compared to competitive developments from Google and Zoho. In particular, before printing a document, the user does not have to press the “preview” button, because in the Buzzword editor the picture on the screen is guaranteed to be 100% identical to what the document will look like on paper.

Text editor Buzzword supports the collective commenting of the text, and the comments are saved as bright stickers.

Buzzword closed beta testing will start this spring, and open testing will begin in the fall. The program will remain free after the official release.
