ICQ will be paid ??

It seems that the AOL company (the owner of the ICQ service) decided to finally kill the popularity of its messenger, making the communication paid. The official reason is the substantial losses incurred by the company in the last quarter.

According to preliminary information, from April 13, in order to use ICQ, you will first need to order a subscription on the official website and receive a special key that will be sent to the server at each connection. If you find multiple connections with the same key, it will be placed with a black list.

There will be several tariff packages: unlimited, daily (communication from 9 am to 9 pm, time zone subscriber is taken into account), night (from 9 pm to 9 am), budget for developing countries (from three nights to five in the morning). There will also be an option such as payment by the number of sent symbols :) There is no exact pricing information yet, but AOL stated that users of alternative customers will pay several times more :)
