In the school timetable

It is possible that in the near future, students of primary schools in the UK will hone their skills in using Twitter and Wikipedia, Ananova reports.

Now the project is being prepared for consideration by the Ministry of Education (and by each minister), according to which junior schoolchildren, along with mathematics and history, will be taught the basics of blogging, podcasting, working with Wikipedia and social relations of Twitter. In the opinion of many, it will help the little Englishmen to better navigate the fast-growing world of information technology by the time they go to high school.

The most pleasant thing is that according to the project the student will be able to abandon such items as “Victorian history” or “history of the First World War” in favor of modern subjects. The official decision will be announced in April.
