Accelerate the layout - so help Notepad ++

I’ve been doing it for a long time in Notepad ++ , I tried other editors, but it didn’t grow together. The main reason I liked this editor before was code highlighting. Saw. that there are a lot of some settings, but there was no need to understand them - after all, and so everything works fine.

The situation changed when the amount of work grew, and I physically did not have time to impose something that I should manage to do. Of course, there are some html and css blanks, but copying them is a doubtful gain in time. Working via FTP via Total Commander is also not very convenient - a lot of unnecessary gestures.

And so I decided to spend time setting up my favorite Notepad ++, I heard somewhere that it is flexible to configure :)

FTP

First of all I decided to deal with FTP - I saw a button a long time ago, but “did not work”. Everything turned out just like a boot - you drive in, save and work with files right on the server - awesome time savings.




And, oddly enough, many colleagues have long been using this editor and do not use the built-in FTP client. This is very convenient, believe me!

Macros

If I have been using an FTP client for a long time, I have recently turned my attention to macros, and when I realized their power, the speed of work has increased significantly!

If someone is interested in macros - I share what I have. By the way, macros work correctly only in the latest version of Notepad ++.

And just today, after updating Notepad ++, I noticed a feature that I really missed - auto-closing tags. Now you can definitely work comfortably :)



There are still a lot of different lotions, with the rest I have not yet figured out, perhaps I will not. If someone knows something else interesting about Notepad ++ - share ...
