And Wacom is not without sin

The company Wacom produces excellent tablets. This is a quality standard, to which various jenius will drag on for a long time (although, in general, there is no need to reach out - they close their range of price and quality of such products and rejoice :). With almost absolute certainty, it can be said that any person who is seriously concerned with working with graphics will choose “Wacom”. And there are no complaints about the “iron” part or, say, the design of devices.

But the more annoying the situation with the sudden flashing software is when the tablet under Windows XP or Vista stops responding to pressure, pen tilt, etc., and becomes virtually a pen mouse. Five owners surveyed in one voice declare that it helps either to reboot, or to reinstall the drivers following it. Not difficult in general, but the workflow is interrupted, which is sometimes fraught :)

I want to collect statistics. Do you use Wacom tablets (in my case Graphire 3), and do you occasionally have such a problem?
')
UPD: and most importantly, what I mean :), because the manufacturer most likely knows about the problem. I wonder why not treats? I have already had a tablet for four years, and all this time there is a problem. I think it could be solved.

UPD # 2: in search of a solution, I stumbled upon a thread in the forum creaturedesign.org , where several days ago a representative of the Russian division of Wacom answered the question about drivers: “I can’t say anything specific about the driver, I’m not encouraging. I know that such a problem occurs with users. I am sure that our colleagues in Japan will do everything possible so that such inconveniences are minimized or eliminated altogether in next-generation products.
In the meantime, I can only advise trying to install the latest driver by downloading it from our website here.
Just in case, let me remind you that before installing a new driver, in order for it to get up correctly, you need to delete the user settings file and clear the preferred settings (Start -> Programs -> Wacom Tablet -> Wacom Tablet Utility -> Clear File user settings).
