Yandex is in the top 100
Red Herring, a high-tech business magazine, published a list of one hundred companies that won the annual Red Herring 100 Europe Award. The top hundred finalists included the best, according to the results of expertise, innovative businesses of the EMEA-region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). The only company from Russia among them is Yandex . In the second hundred applicants for the award was Quintura Inc.
Companies such as Google, eBay and Skype have been marked by Red Herring still at an early stage of their formation. Determining the most advanced players, the experts of the journal look at the financial indicators of the applicants, assess the quality of their management, activity in scientific work, etc.
The winners of the Red Herring 100 Europe are collected in Cannes at the Venture Market Europe conference, which will be held from 25 to 27 March.
