£ 20,000 for an opera widget

Contests for the best widget for the Opera browser, offering cash prizes for the winners, are held with enviable consistency, but the organizers of contests in the art of programming have never set such a high award. So, let's not be distracted, because time is money, and in this case, big money.

The company Betavine, which is the research division of the Vodafone Group, has announced a contest for the best widget for the mobile version of the Opera 9.5 browser installed on Nokia 6210, Nokia N78, Nokia N95 8gb and Nokia N96 phones. The main prize will be 20,000 full British pounds, for the second and third places are more modest - a thousand in the same currency. The contest will run until April 30, 2009.
