New 17 "iMac for $ 899

This became known from the Apple eNews for Education mailing list . Data on the filling is not reported, but it is clear that it will be weaker than the older models.

Apparently Apple will position the new iMac as a computer for educational institutions, or maybe it’s just an anti-crisis proposal. In any case, this is a great move, and it seems to me that the new model will be very popular. Now, the iMac is closer to the price of the Mac mini, which most likely has been updated recently.
