Archive of Soviet television on the Internet

A new portal, CCCP-TV.ru, will open soon on the Internet with a video archive of Soviet television.
The site will post recordings of such television programs of the 1950s - early 1990s, as "Good night, kids", "Blue Flame", "Around the Laughter", "In the Animal World", hockey matches of the USSR-Canada and information programs.
The archive also keeps records of the congresses of the Communist Party, materials of the official information program "Time", as well as some films made by special order of the State Television and Radio.
Access to CCCP-TV.ru will be free of charge, but visitors to the site will have to register and download a special program for watching videos.
The project will be funded by advertising placed in commercials.
