The virtual operator "Euroset" bets on "content"
The company Euroset launched into commercial operation of its virtual operator with the same name. So far, only residents of the Samara region can become subscribers of Euroset, within a month they are expected to “connect” to the Saratov and Ulyanovsk regions, the republics of Bashkortostan and Mordovia.
The cellular operator SMARTS, whose head office is located in Samara, has become a partner of Euroset.
As reported in the Euroset press center, the new virtual operator does not plan to dump and arrange a “price collapse”: the main focus will be placed primarily on the convenience of subscribers in accessing mobile content — ringtones, pictures, etc. The peculiarity is that all the content on the wap-portal will be available for download for free, and subscribers will need to pay only the cost of traffic. In addition, taking an example from the notorious YouTube, the company plans in the near future to open for the portal visitors the opportunity to post their video files.
