Two years have passed since the National Bank of Kazakhstan adopted the graphic symbol of the currency of Kazakhstan, and the symbol is still almost never used. Mainly due to the fact that to this day there were no fonts containing this sign. However, it was impossible to create new fonts with the tenge symbol, or to include it in the already existing ones, for the reason that until recently it was not included in the Unicode universal character set (UCS).

Now that we know for certain that the tenge symbol is entered in UCS (code U + 20B8), we have the ability to create fonts containing this sign.


Studio “ Satori ” - the pioneer of introducing the tenge graphic symbol, which first started using it on their websites in July 2008, has the honor to offer you the first font in the history of mankind, containing the currency symbol of Kazakhstan.

Headset Price list was developed in the studio "Satori", in March 2009. The font is distributed completely free of charge.


The price list comes in two styles - regular and italic. The font contains only numbers, some punctuation marks, signs of some arithmetic operations, and also currency symbols. In addition to the symbol of Kazakhstan tenge, the font also contains symbols of the following monetary units of the world:

• - U.S. dollar;
• - Euro;
• - Russian ruble;
• - Ukrainian hryvnia;
• - Mongolian Tugrik;
• - Japanese yen;
• - South Korean won;
• - Thai baht;
• - Nigerian naira;
• - British pound sterling.

For the convenience of typing, the symbols of world currencies, in addition to their “legitimate” places in the symbol table, are duplicated in the range of the Latin alphabet. For example, if you enter a capital Latin T, the tenge symbol will be displayed, lowercase Latin T corresponds to Mongolian Tugrik, capital Latin E stands for euro, H stands for Ukrainian hryvnia, W stands for Korean, Y stands for Japanese Yen, N stands for Nigerian naira, L stands for pound sterling, B - Thai Baht, R - Russian ruble.
