Factors affecting the relevance of a blog in Google Blogsearch
Unlike many blog search engines , the default Google search engine displays results based on relevance. The published patent provides an answer to the question, depending on what blogs are ranked in search results.
Positive for the blog are:
links to the blog in other blogrollah;
links to the blog from other sites that are not blogs;
use tags to categorize content;
PageRank;
the number of subscribers to the RSS blog;
number of transitions from search results pages, etc.
The following factors have a negative effect:
the publication of posts at short intervals with a clear interval;
blog content is different from RSS content;
increased content of keywords that are considered “spamming”;
a large amount of duplicate content;
the same or almost the same size of posts;
links to the same site in many posts;
a large number of ad units, banners and their location, etc.
