Two must have GPS programs for iPhone 3G

For a long time I didn’t buy my navigator in my car, as I was going to change the phone, and as fate would have it, my choice fell on the iPhone 3G.

The first night, as probably most of the lucky owners, I spent on flashing, setting up and searching for the applications I needed, focusing on working with GPS. Since at that time I still had little understanding of what Cidia, Installous and others are, I was able to download only a huge two-cache cache of maps of central Russia from torrents.
And in the morning I went from Moscow to Kostroma to test the pre-installed Maps application.

“O Horror!” - this is the best that came to my mind after the first kilometers. Who happened to use, he will understand.

Somewhat later, having already got used to the iPhone and had plenty of time, I found and are now actively using two programs that are great capable of making life easier for the driver and absolutely fall into the must have category, these are xGPS and Jam 2.0.

xGPS is an excellent program to perform the main function, why do you need GPS - to drive along a given route. Of course, Google maps do not know how to create a route between cities of Russia, but at least in Moscow it is very easy and pleasant to use this program, it’s especially great that they can recalculate the route if you turn to another road.
Separate respect to the authors for downloading maps from the computer - you no longer need to download huge caches in torrents, but you can choose the necessary parts of the world map yourself and download the necessary levels of approximation!
And there are also voice commands, although so far only synthesized in English.

Traffic 2.0 - the name is already clear, the port on the iPhone Yandex.Probok 2.0. What is called, until you try - you will not understand: now I use it every day, and I do not cease to rejoice, bypassing the next huge traffic jam.
Works for several cities of Russia, still knows how to show gas stations and the cost of gasoline. Cache cards, so that the money goes very little.

It's nice that both programs are constantly developing, taking into account the wishes of users and at the same time completely accessible.

PS Just in case, I have no relation to any of the described programs.
I just want to help select proven useful programs, since the standard ones are not very suitable for use.
