From this book, I began to study the ERP-system MS Axapta, thanks in large part to her, I found my first job in Canada, and to this day, it is the most popular among other books on my design table for all versions of MS Dynamics: 3.0 4.0 and 2009 .

In general, examples are the strongest part of any developer’s guide, and this book is an excellent example of how to do it: here you can find not only the standard programming patterns that correspond to Best Practice, which are especially important to learn at the beginning of working with the system, but also such techniques , like, say working with COM - Axapta Business Connector or organizing multidimensional arrays.

The title of the third chapter, “What the expert should know,” speaks for itself.

My favorite paragraphs are those where we are talking about creating and invoking system entities, such as forms, menus, queries, and so on, directly from the code.

It is especially nice that it was written by Russian guys in good Russian.

In general, appreciating this unprecedented work in terms of material coverage, symmetry and style of presentation, and originality of the concept, it can be said that this book is the cornerstone in building a MS Dynamics developer career.
