Comments from li.ru on your blog

Recently, an article appeared on Habrahabr that told how to make comments on OpenId possible in his blog. By chance, I recently stumbled upon a new service LiveInternet - comments. “Ajax comments on your site” was the title. It became interesting to me and I registered. What came of it, as well as about the capabilities of the system, read below.

So, the service provides the ability to comment on your site. And this can be done by both users of li.ru, and LJ users and in general everyone who has OpenID. The comments themselves are stored on the website comments.li.ru , where they can be moderated and deleted. It looks like this:

Accordingly, to install this system, you need to register , add your website and get the code. Add code to your blog and get just such a form for comments (so that the forms are not duplicated on your blog, I hid everything for the “Comments for Li.ru Users” button). Below is a form that identified me as a user li.ru:

And so it looks for everyone else:

The system allows you to customize the size of the form, color design and even set the counter on the number of comments. Everything works on Ajax, so there won't be any page reloads. Below is an example, with a comment left:

Summary
The system is quite convenient and allows you to reach a large circle of users (li.ru, lj, openid). That will help attract new users to your stand alone blog (this is especially convenient if you have a broadcast on one of these systems). But, unfortunately, not without drawbacks. Here are the main ones:
Duplication of forms - if you have a blog, then forms for sending comments will be duplicated. I solved this problem by simply removing everything under the button “Comments for li.ru users” ( more ). The second problem immediately appears: comments from li.ru will be a separate branch and will not be combined with intrablogging. The solution can probably serve as registration in the same li.ru. Then you will have to answer in the same thread comments.
The impossibility of notifications - in the comments control panel, I still did not find anything about notifications about them. That is, you will have to periodically log in to see if new comments have appeared, which is not gud.
Weak power - probably the main drawback. Sometimes I could not get into the system all day long, so it was also not possible to comment on the blog at that time. I do not know whether this is connected with the novelty of the system or with some work inside it, but at the moment, this problem is the main one, because of which I am thinking about abandoning the system. Wait and see.
On this, perhaps, everything. An example of the work of comments can be seen on my blog .
