CyberSecurity.Ru website reports that defense contractor
Northrop Grumman presented its latest robotic military development to the military public - the
X-47B unmanned Combat Air System unmanned combat aircraft, which the manufacturer called the "most advanced flying robot in the world."

Named three main differences X-47B from other existing drone.
')
First, the X-47B is able to take off and land not only on the runways of airfields, but also on aircraft carrying cruisers, which is much more difficult.
Secondly, a roboto-aircraft can autonomously dock with a military aircraft carrier in the air and receive fuel independently.
Thirdly, the X-47B has a perfect combat system that allows it to attack not only ground targets, but also air targets — for example, other aircraft.
As weapons, the aircraft can carry large heavy machine guns and a set of
air-to-ground and air-to-air cruise missiles
.The same site tells that in this cybernetic plane and another feature that was not named among the main ones, but which turned out to be interesting for the military: the
X-47B has an autonomous firing system.
Previously, many drones were equipped with military weapons, but the actual shooting was always carried out at the command of a remote operator through satellite channels, that is, the operator decided when and at whom to shoot.
The new flying combat robot X-47B decides for itself when and at whom it is necessary to open fire or launch a rocket.
It remains only to connect it to Skynet.
