In 2012, the volume of mailboxes provided by the Gmail system will reach 3.47 gigabytes (per mailbox, of course). Such is the "development plan", developed somewhere in the depths of the company. Currently, the volume of postal space is 2829 megabytes, and in general, the dynamics are as follows:

- after 384 days - 2980 megabytes;
- in 749 days - 3125 megabytes;
- in 1114 days - 3270 megabytes;
- in 1479 days - 3415 megabytes;
- in 1845 days - 3560 megabytes.
