Work less: math or philosophy?

Communicating with many people in many forums, he made for himself a simple but unexpected conclusion: there are two groups of people. The first one lives according to the principle “you work more, you get more”. It means not literally salary, but in general income, acquisition, improvement, expansion, and so on.

The second group lives on the principle “work less - get more”. That is, any action, experience, experiment, aimed at reducing labor (investment) and increasing the result (profit) should be strongly encouraged and developed. And vice versa - a simple increase in productivity by increasing labor - should be stopped at the root.

Do you want to work from morning till night, staying in the office for overtime? Go home to family, get some sleep and think why you are wrong. And in the morning, come and tell us how to optimize your work. So that you and the working group as a whole can have the same (or greater) income, moving one finger of your left foot.

I do not know whether the first group has remained from the era of Soviet prejudice, or is it a natural property of some people. However, I am sure that it is as difficult for these groups to communicate among themselves as it is difficult to argue about religion to Orthodox and Muslims.
