Adobe has released a public alpha version of Apollo.

Adobe has released a public alpha version of the platform for Rich Internet Applications (Tweaked Internet Applications).

Apollo allows you to combine Flash, Flex, HTML, CSS, Javascript, DOM, PDF “in one bottle” to create applications for Win and Mac (in the future under Linux).

Runtime for windows takes about 6MB and includes tightly integrated Flash Player 9 and the browser engine Webkit (also used in Safari).
