Dance with macbook air.

They threw me, as it seemed, a simple hack-work - put on a Macbook, Win XP. On closer inspection, this turned out to be Air, therefore installation from a CD using BootCamp was not suitable. Macbook refused to accept, bootable usb devices with winxp, although if you make a backup of Mac OS on USB HDD using Super Duper! Program, it was loaded with a bang. Having rummaged a bit on the Internet, I stumbled upon the REFIt program (REFIt for Intel Macs.), Flash drives appeared in the boot menu, but it didn’t go further; when I tried to boot, everything ended in an error.
The next stage was borrowed by LG's USB DVD-ROM at Mac OS itself; it was decided that it was wonderful. With the help of BootCamp, I broke the disk into two sections, mac and win, inserted the XP installation disk, again everything was fine, I reboot to install the system, the boot starts from the disk, but no luck, the installation does not start, the apple flashes. I climb into the Internet. On the Apple site it says, installing XP is possible only if there is a super drive (dvd epl is 70 cu), I search further, it flashes in the articles that it is not installed from all the drives that comes with only 3-5 drives.
There is absolutely desperate, I decide to put vmware fusion www.vmware.com/products/fusion . Everything is installed without problems with the iso image.
There are no complaints about the speed of the applications in the virtual machine.
PS I first encountered the backup system for mac os and I must say impressed, there are enough super duper free features to make a full backup and then the same backup is started as a working system already from the portable media.
PPS The owner of the laptop tortured mac, if there is a wish to change the exchange in Yekaterinburg. (The exchange rate is very favorable)
