Cartoon "Gypsy": When will the cartoon be ready?
In the comments to any note in our blog, we get from five to fifty questions "When will the cartoon be ready?".
In the daily life of any of the people involved in this project, this question follows immediately after the phrase “Hello! How are you?"
We decided to answer all of you honestly to this question. Today we do not know when we can finish this cartoon. We know that we will finish it, but we do not know when.
At the very beginning we announced that by the end of 2008 the cartoon would be released.
The cartoon did not come out for two reasons:

(hand on heart) Honestly we admit that even in a nightmare we did not represent the whole volume of work.
It seemed to us - what was there so long? We painted, modeled, assembled and finished the case. More than five months will not take. But when they got down to business, they realized that it was easier to make a feature film than to draw a 3D cartoon.
And the second reason is the main one. Banal as pictures from a wedding, eternal as a philosophy, a stunning lack of money and all that follows from this - technology, staff, etc.
Studio Simpals makes this cartoon for its more than modest expense. And in the courtyard of the crisis, which, at a surprisingly fast pace, makes this account even more modest.
And therefore, in order to somehow continue the work on the cartoon, we are forced to constantly suspend work on it and send the staff to earn money. Collect glassware, dig beds, clean snow in the far north, draw emoticons and cursors for mice.
And after that, back to work on the cartoon. And just overclock - the money runs out again and everyone goes back to the plantations.
In any case, we will finish this cartoon - for this is a matter of honor, we are interested in ourselves and in general it is necessary!
But the expiration date, in today's conditions, is shifting farther and farther away. And now we are really not ready to say, even approximately, when the cartoon can be seen.
But we want to say that we will be very grateful for any help offered by you.
And so we post something like a tag cloud on the blog, but call it “Our Gratitude Cloud”.
The “cloud of thanks” will reflect the people who came to our rescue.
The more a person has helped us - the larger font will reflect his name or nickname in the cloud. And the more large print we give his name in the credits after the cartoon.
We are also ready to listen and accept any offers of project sponsorship from organizations and legal entities. Well, of course, if it is not to the detriment of the cartoon. That is, we will not dress our gypsy in a famous brand tracksuit or make Zara look like someone's mother-in-law. And the rest - we are ready to cooperate with everyone. Just in order to maximize the release date of the cartoon.
