NVIDIA will support start-ups with finances

Yesterday, March 10, NVIDIA announced the launch of a specialized business program, the GPU Ventures Program, which will include the “search, support and investment of newly formed companies that use the GPU for visual and other computer applications.” The company will also open the GPU Venture Zone website, which will be designed to showcase innovative GPU applications developed by partners.

NVIDIA is going to "sponsor" startups, investing from $ 500,000 to $ 5 million. In return, the giant expects to receive a limited share in the funded company. The purpose of this whole action is to strengthen the position of NVIDIA in the market of graphics processors and related technologies.
