New gaming laptop

At CeBIT 2009, ASUS showed off its new gaming laptop G71Gx, which should replace the already outdated G71.

The machine, based on the Intel Centrino 2 platform, is equipped with a 17-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels, boasts the possibility of installing up to 12 GB of RAM, as well as two HDDs of 500 GB each and a Blu-ray drive.

The graphics system used is GeForce GTX 260M with GDDR3 video memory of 1024 MB, which provides a 50% performance increase compared to 9800M, and more economical at the same time.

When the new laptop will appear on the market and how much it will cost is not yet known. But it is clear that such a cheap computer will not. In general, only for rich geek gamers.
