WiFi in McDonald's

I have long heard that McDonald's has a free waffle and just recently I had the opportunity to touch it with my own hands ... My sister expressed a desire to sit in it and I could not dissuade her from this bad deed.
I connected for quite a long time, because nobody told me that where and how ... So, let's start:

The experiment was conducted in Voronezh in McDonald’s near the bus station on the left bank. (Perhaps in other branches the situation is slightly better)
When I asked what was needed to use the Internet, I was told that nothing - connect and everything will work. Okay. We believe ...
I climbed to the farthest corner, where no one would disturb me and where there was less noise (for which I hate McDonald's, it’s for noise).
After seeing what network there is, I immediately found Beeline_WiFi_FREE there with encryption disabled and Golden_WiFi_B2B with wpa enabled

Well, since I did not give out any keys, it means connecting to me to an unencrypted network.
No sooner said than done. I made the appropriate changes to the /etc/conf.d/net file and restarted the waffle. It was not there. Address dhcp issued well by no means wanted.
Having rebooted to Windows, which is also installed on my laptop, I tried to connect to this network and ... lo and behold! Connected. The settings were as follows:

ip 172.17.64.242/16 via 172.17.0.1
dhcp 10.40.0.103
dns 194.67.1.150

and immediately stumbled upon the fact that addresses are resolved, but there is no connection. Pages do not open. I tried telnet to go to www.google.com 80 and the connection just failed. Tracing did not go even to the gateway. So traffic cut gateway. But he had to wrap all requests at least on the authorization page.
But all I needed was what I already found out - this is the subnet, gateway and dns. I can now give the address to myself;).
')
Reboot to Linux, I immediately applied the previously obtained settings. I connected and could ping dns. Although the gateway and dhcp-server did not respond. Probably there icmp is prohibited.
Out of habit, which appeared after setting up my own hotspot on gentoo, I decided to check available computers for open ports. Maybe there is a solution. On the dns server, I found the http and https ports open. And the rest is nothing

elvebook ~ # nmap 194.67.1.150

Starting Nmap 4.68 ( nmap.org ) at 2009-03-07 13:51 UTC
Interesting ports on ns.rol.ru (194.67.1.150):
Not shown: 1713 filtered ports
PORT STATE SERVICE
80/tcp open http
443/tcp open https

Nmap done: 1 IP address (1 host up) scanned in 9.546 seconds

I connected the browser to the 80th port. And only now I saw a beautiful page with the Beeline logo and a big yellow “enter” button. After clicking on this button, all the pings went right away and connections began to be established.

This is what I do not understand. Or am I such a fool that I could not enter there in a simpler way ... or is it so special about those who want to use the Internet?

They earn money on us, and they treat us as if they shouldn't replace anything. Okay, the food there is disgusting to the taste, so it is necessary to blinker with the Internet (
