The maximum I found on Habré is a small link to iXBT.com, and in the meantime it would be worth discussing this rather interesting and unusual device - a netbook with all sorts of goodies based on an ARM processor.

The company
Always Innovating presented at the conference DEMO 09 netbook Touch Book. Characteristics of the model:
- ARM Texas Instruments OMAP3 chip (SoC)
- Screen 1024x600 8.9 ''
- Storage 8GB microSD card (I think that you can shove any)
- Wifi 802.11b / g / n and Bluetooth
- 3D accelerometer
- Speakers and microphone
- 6 USB 2.0 (3 internal, 2 external, 1 mini)
- Battery life time from 10 to 15 hours (vou, but if you use it with the keyboard, we'll talk about it later)
- Promised price is $ 299 for a tablet or $ 399 for a full set (tablet and keyboard)
Immediately I’ll probably make a reservation, I don’t have to install Windows (not CE) on it, as there seems to be no “normal” Windows under ARM, but Linux, Android and others are always welcome.
So, the device lives from 10 to 15 hours, which is wonderful in itself, but this is when using the full set - there is another battery in the keyboard module. In tablet mode, the device will live for about 4 hours. At the same time, the tablet can be hooked onto any metal surface (it was suggested at the presentation on a refrigerator).
I think that many have long waited for when all the same someone released a netbook that has an acceptable battery life, does not heat up, does not make noise, and you can not just poke a finger at the screen.
UPD (2009-03-24): “ARM has announced that by the end of 2009 it will release new high-end graphics solutions for mobile devices ... on communicators and even ordinary mobile phones with average characteristics, it will be possible to play games with graphics quality comparable to gaming applications for the Xbox 360. The quad-core Mali-400 model with a clock frequency of 300 MHz can realize an image with a resolution of 1920x1080 "(c) src =
