Accounting Kiosaki money in the program AceMoney.

Accounting for money is the first action in all financial management systems. I have been doing it since 2004. Having tried a lot of programs stopped at AceMoney. My report can be viewed at http://nkozlov.ru/distance/s203/d2663/ Since then, I have repeatedly achieved specific financial goals for earning or saving - I changed a couple of cars, I lived for half a year with savings. In general, to achieve the cumulative goals, my system worked perfectly. At some point, Kiosaki’s book about gaining financial freedom fell into my hands. It proposed a non-standard methodology for determining assets and liabilities, which initially did not fit into the logic of the previous scheme. It is time to take the next step and set up the system to account for the passive incomes that have begun to appear. C filing Ilya Stremovskogo decided to share knowledge. So:

Tasks

  1. See the movement of money, considering such factors as passive income and changes in the value of assets.
  2. Understand how close the point of return on fixed costs.
  3. Look at your picture of money movement on a different scale (month / year)

Decision.

Customize the program for yourself.

  1. Go to the list of categories and create those categories that are interesting to us.

  2. First enter the name of the category and subcategories. Carefully consider the category name, then it will be possible to aggregate reports by subcategories and see the big picture.
  3. Decide on the budget by category: whether it will be an expense or income (note the corresponding button), enter the amount in the budget field and select the period.
  4. If you have something to say to yourself, you can fill in the comment field.
  5. Finish creating a category with the OK button.
And so we go in all the categories that we have. Purely practically it is convenient to select a separate category for which there is a passive income. Expenses for insurance are more convenient to do with a period of a year, the rest with a period of a month. When we finish creating the category list, we will have something like:

Please note: your annual balance is displayed on the right below the category list. We customize reports to get answers to questions. Now we turn directly to solving problems. We start to customize reports. First, go to the reports menu item. We are interested in budget reports. They can be displayed both in a more general form grouped by category, or in detail when each subcategory is displayed.
To begin with, let's try which stream passes through us in a month. Select the report by category and see:

This means that for the month we are planning a balance of 29,571 rubles. Now it is interesting to see what will happen if we lose our basic earnings. Go to the filter by category and remove the tick from the article: Income: Salary.

Click on OK, and see what happens:

Yes, without wages, it seems that for the time being we cannot maintain the current standard of living. Every month 20249 rubles of losses is counted. This amount of passive income is not enough for us to maintain the current standard of living. This is our task for the near future, but now, during a crisis, for example, we face the question: can we live on savings for a year? First, we tighten our belts and go back to the category filter and remove everything we are ready to give up: car, alcohol, entertainment. Click on OK and see that the result has become less sad. True, this is only a month, in order to see what will happen in a year, go to the filter by date and select the current year. The results are certainly not encouraging, but still there are chances to hold out:

PS The data in all tables are hammered approximate, at you they can essentially differ.
