USB KVM and the differences between Linux and Windows

Here I wanted to make myself a comfortable workplace with two computers (Windows and Linux), but with one keyboard and mouse. It seems that it can be easier, buy KVM and rejoice. But the soul demanded USB KVM. So that everything is modern, the year 2009 is in the yard. As a result, it turned out that when switching to Windows, there is a delay of 5 seconds while the Windows reconfigure the “connected” device. Naturally, during this time, the keyboard and mouse do not work at all. When switching to Ubuntu, everything is picked up on the fly.

And, to connect ps / 2 to Linux, you just need to plug it in, and in Windows you need to boot with it ...

There will be no conclusions :) I still like both operating systems. Simply, Linux is much more convenient, and Windows has to be used for work.
