The torrent tracker The Pirate Bay, which was unavailable for several hours, returned to online on March 3 at about 12 hours Moscow time.
Access to the site slowed down and then stopped on the evening of March 2. The reason, according to anonymous sources of the TorrentFreak resource, was not a DDoS attack.
The failure, according to TorrentFreak, was in no way connected with the trial of the founders of the resource. At the same time, the error could not be fixed remotely, because of which the administrators had to go to the hosting center, where The Pirate Bay servers are located.
The Pirate Bay is the largest torrent tracker in the world, which is used by several tens of millions of people. Currently, the founders of the resource are charged with violating copyright law. They face up to a year in prison.
