Surely many of the administrators are working on the system: received a written request - completed the task - everyone is happy.
However, no one writes an application so that they pull out the jammed paper in the printer. And the majority of such requests fill the whole working day, and there is not so much time left for real work, and when the boss demands a report, there is nothing to say, for there is no document proving your work. Part-time (according to the documents) is, but what did you do the rest of the time? Well, of course, you probably played all day at the computer.
What to do?
Our department decided to introduce a system of electronic processing of applications, where all requests and requests will be recorded. Applications are submitted via the Web interface. The whole thing is divided into categories, showing the latest answers and the latest applications added. It is possible to carry out the mailing or catch RSS. Now absolutely ALL requests are registered, you mark, adding comments to the application, the progress of its execution. Now, at any time, you can print out each application in a digestible version, and give this data to your boss, who will no longer have any thoughts about what you are doing at work.
