In Ukraine, the “Safe Internet Month” campaign is currently taking place, accompanied by posters and videos. On the streets of various cities of Ukraine were placed billboards depicting the girl's face, painted with a marker, and the words: “Internet. More real than you think. ”
The social campaign is dedicated to the European Day of Safe Internet. The campaign was initiated by members of the Coalition for Child Safety on the Internet, including Microsoft Ukraine.
The main purpose of the action is to attract Ukrainian society to the world problem. Campaign leaders urge children, teenagers and their parents to be careful in using the Internet, as there are many strangers on the world wide web who are free to manage your personal information as they please. The social advertising campaign covers television channels (MTV Ukraine and Channel 5), print media (T3, Home PC, Mobility) and online resources. As a contribution to the program, the advertising concept of advertising was developed by the agency Think! McCann Erickson, and a promotional video produced by the production studio Radioactive Film (director - Ivan Sautkin). ')
At the expense of the Coalition for the Safety of Children on the Internet, a new resource, skarga.org.ua , was also created, which will be launched soon. On this site, each user will be able to specify the address of the resource containing illegal content: child pornography, manifestations of racial and national intolerance, and terrorism. Earlier, Microsoft Ukraine has launched a special resource , Onlandia , which contains materials for learning the basics of safe work on the Web.
Eric Franke, CEO of Microsoft Ukraine, the founder of the Coalition for the Safety of Children on the Internet, notes: “The topic of online security still doesn’t receive enough public attention, and more and more Ukrainians use the Internet at work, at home, on the Internet clubs and libraries. With the help of the Secure Internet Month, we strive to make both students and their parents not only learn more about the safe use of the Internet, but also be able to personally support the Coalition’s initiatives. After all, even in the virtual world, the dangers are very real, and only together we can protect our children from them. ”
