I start slowly spreading short reviews of books on presentations. Nacham with one of the most interesting and fundamental - Barbara Minto "Golden Rules of Harvard and McKinsey"

To write a detailed review of this book, in general, it is useless. A detailed review is needed so that you can consciously choose what to read and what you should not.
In this case, there is no choice: all managers should be able to express their thoughts in a clear and structured way in writing - and this is the only Russian-language book about how to do this. In many countries, this book is one of the mandatory literature for MBA programs.
The book presents in detail the concept of writing documents on the principle of the pyramid, when ideas are logically interconnected and arranged in the order that is optimal for perception. Such documents are clearer, more convincing, and shorter.

Barbara Minto used to work at McKinsey, where she developed an approach that became the standard for this consulting company and other leading companies and business schools. Barbara now runs her own consulting company, conducting many consultations and seminars on the Pyramid of Minto.
The book will really be useful to anyone who writes reports, memos, reports and other business documents. There is a separate chapter about presentations with quite valuable recommendations for structuring them.
But there are also flaws in the book: I cannot say that the book is written in a living and understandable language — rather, it requires thoughtful study. The language of presentation is academic, and the presentation and examples are rather abstract in some places. As it is not paradoxical for a book about the structuring of documents, there are claims to its own structure: many ideas are duplicated from chapter to chapter, and individual recommendations and ideas do not immediately add up to a solid vision.
But, in any case, this book must be read.
