OJSC VimpelCom (Beeline) and Google at a press conference today announced that the Google News news aggregator for mobile platforms will be integrated into the Beeline wap portal. The new project, according to the partners, is unique for the Russian market and will allow mobile device users connected to the Beeline network to search for information about the latest events in Russia and the world on the media portals.

Thanks to the convenient navigation and the interface adapted for mobile devices, the user will be able to browse the headlines of the main news on the service’s home page, search for the necessary articles by keywords, and the search results are grouped by thematic categories.
