Yesterday a letter arrived in the mail:
...
The bigmir) net portal launches a beta version of the updated web statistics system (http://top.bigmir.net/), and also informs all rating participants of the launch of the beta edition of the new rules for participation in the bigmir) net rating (http: // top.bigmir.net/site/add/).
...
etc. etc.
First of all, having received it, I discarded it until I went to the rating today and did not notice any obvious cosmetic changes:
New in rating reports:• Position of the site in the ranking - the dynamic position of the site in the ranking;
• Site tree - a detailed structure of page views for each service;
• Host makers - entry points to the site;
• Comparison of attendance (comprehensive report) - the ability to compare several sites participating in the rating by hosts; hits; visitors for such periods of time: today; yesterday; 3 days; six months by week, year;
• Increased data retention. Now you can view statistics for the last three days;
• Platform (operating systems, browsers, monitors) - added reports about Java and Flash installed on the visitor;
• Geography - the IP base has been expanded, which more accurately selects the visitor's region.
• All reports have been revised for which it was possible to compare current data with the previous period or with the same data of other participants in the rating. Now they are combined into one and contain a new form that allows you to easily select any combination of data to view and compare.

Very pleasantly surprised and even pleased. Now even from a mobile it has become more pleasant and convenient to enter.
And this is another step towards usability and user satisfaction, but I hope other services in this regard will not lag behind. Especially the booming i.ua!
What I would like to receive in the future - version of the counter for WAP and PDA.
This is a challenge for all ratings ...
