Suddenly, Safari 4 beta for Windows and Mac has been released.

The new version is changed very seriously. Firstly, inside there is now a
new JS engine, comparable in speed to Google Chrome (so that inside two browsers have the same display engines and very similar - at least in terms of speed - scripting engines).
')
Secondly, Apple was not afraid to borrow successful interface solutions from Google Chrome and completely redesigned the look of the browser. Dangling tabs on top, a narrow socket that does not interfere with the display of the page - it all looks good.
For the speed dial mode, Apple made its beautiful solution with 12 tabs:

History can be scrolled like album art in iTunes - in Cover Flow mode.

Safari for Windows now looks and renders fonts as a normal Windows application, very organic.

Safari also includes a great developer inspector.
There is also something unpleasant: for example, Safari's address bar does not know how to search through the middle of the URL (although, for example, in Firefox and Chrome, I really love this feature). There is still time to improve.
It’s not a fact that everyone will like the new browser, but this is very good news for the ecosystem.
