Startup Rating - February 2009

StartupIndex publishes a monthly rating of the investment attractiveness of Russian start-ups, which characterizes their willingness to effectively use the funds of potential investors. Rating is the opinion of professionals about the overall investment attractiveness of the project, the level of elaboration of goals and objectives, the project team and its ability to achieve its goals.

Rating values ​​are published in accordance with the scale : from the highest category - “AAA” to the lowest - “D”.

All projects with StartupIndex rating

The description of most of the listed projects will fall into the second edition of the StartupIndex Review , about which we recently wrote on Habré. The output of the magazine is scheduled for the end of March.

How is the rating formed?

The rating is based on the assessments of the expert council which includes full-time analysts of StartupIndex and independent experts with knowledge in relevant fields. Among them:

• Maxim Spiridonov , Head of the Production Center " Roiber ";
• Maxim Krainov , entrepreneur and independent consultant;
• Roman Mandrik , general director of the agency " KSAN ";
• Dmitry Demenchuk, game producer.

How can a startup get a rating?

• Register the project on the website startupindex.ru ;
• Attach additional materials: presentation, business plan, research results, etc. (these documents will be available only to members of the expert council and moderator of the site);
• Fill in the startup questionnaire;
• Wait for the letter from the StartupIndex employee confirming the start of the examination process.

In case the final rating turns out to be BBB or higher, you will be offered to host the project in the next issue of the StartupIndex Review. And this is just one of the reasons to get a rating.
