Groovy 1.6 released!

Today, a new version of the wonderful language for the java-platform called groovy has been released.
Details - under the cut

• decent runtime performance improvements
• multiple assignments
• special annotations for ASTs like Singleton , Lazy , Immutable , Delegate (AST transformations and Singleton , Lazy , Immutable , Delegate and friends)
• Grape - a system of modules and dependencies (the Grape module and the Grab transformation)
