How interface developers make users feel like idiots. There are probably a million such cases; one of them happened to me today at the bus stop.
Those who live in Germany, know that before getting into the bus, you need to buy tickets from the cash machine. On the big screen (hereinafter referred to as the screen) I choose the type of ticket (distance), I choose that I need 5 of them, the inscription appears on the screen: insert, beat, card or denyuzhku. It was necessary to pay 9 euros 30 cents, and I chose a card.
')
As you can see in the picture, there is a screen near the card slot (hereinafter screen), where you need to enter a PIN code. I insert my card, and on the small screen appears the inscription: “remove the card”. I take out, I look at the screen - please insert the card. I think - here is an idiot, I insert a card, and on the small screen again “take out the card”. I am already nervous (according to the schedule after 2 minutes the bus) look again at the screen, it says: ... well, you can guess. I insert the card again, the inscription on the small screen again, ... I decided to look at the screen - and there it says: "To pay with a card, the amount must be more than 10 euros!".
Friends stood nearby and watched as I inserted my card several times and waited for something.
Moral: some checks sometimes do not interfere with the early.
