Moving Pictures: something about the site in general and registration in particular

Moving Pictures is a large and constantly growing collection of music videos. There are concerts, clips, TV shows and films dedicated to the so-called Russian rock. Almost 300 hours of video is now available. Including a lot of rare records, some of which were kindly provided by the musicians themselves and the authors of the programs.

Note: The project is absolutely non-commercial. There is only a small drop of advertising in order to recoup the Internet channel and hardware for the server.

So, as planned, registration opened on the Moving Pictures yesterday. It will be open until Thursday (February 19, 2009), then the invitation system will enter into force. If you are interested in good music, you should register;)

Here are some additional features and nice things awaiting registered users:

• there is access to closed publications (videos, laid out “only for their own”)
• bookmarks are automatically saved when watching a video (you can continue to watch from where you left off - very important for long concerts and TV shows)
• there is access to writing posts on the forum
• convenient to write comments
• convenient to communicate on the forum

In the future, the list of opportunities will be updated. For example, there will be playlists and some other things that are currently in development.
