After watching, after reading and listening to reports about the fact that the Russian education system is switching to free software, he lived in absolute ignorance about how things really are.
... Today I started the course of the discipline Information technology in scientific activities . Coming to the first pair, I heard interesting things that the teacher was telling. More precisely, he told the course content .
And how do you think it looks?
1. Features of Windows Vista
2. Features of Vista Explorer
3. Differences between Vista and its Explorer from Windows XP
4. Studying the features of MS Office 2007 and working in it
And the fifth point somehow stands out completely))):
5. Searching the Internet and compiling complex queries to search engines.
I do not know what this educational organization leads to when they speak loud words about free software, the national operating system, and the transfer of the education system to alternative software products ... in parallel, implanting "knowledge" about proprietary software.
But it is unlikely that the “named knowledge” will help me as a future scientist, especially since my scientific work absolutely does not require the presence of whists, aero and exactly 2007 office on my PC
