Recently I stumbled across (seemingly in Umputun's podcast) on the GTD abbreviation unknown to me until now. Google quickly suggested several links, and after a while, after reading a couple of first chapters from Allen’s book, I realized that something was wrong in my life.
In his methodology, among other things, there is such an interesting concept as “basket”, this is some repository of your obvious and planned tasks. In this basket, you periodically look in and regularly empty it.
What could be this basket? Maybe a neat notebook, your favorite palm with a todo or Outlook list. But we are with you people of the Internet, teamwork and web technologies! Duck, what should such a basket look like for GTD in the now fashionable vebdwanol style? :) ')
Very simple: a blog with tags. Only each blog entry has a validity period (optional) and a checkbox that the task is closed. And on the right, of course, the indispensable tag cloud. As a result, we have a list of tasks in a convenient form with the ability to filter by context. In addition, each user of the system has its own tape and sees only it accordingly.
Multi-user aspect: on the right we see the organization hierarchy by divisions (each division is a link-filter, similar to the tag cloud). Each unit has an owner (boss), and each user can be part of several units at the same time. What does this give? firstly, the scope of the tasks (this is almost a direct ACL), and secondly, the delegation of task statements. That is, each task now has not only the owner (post-manager), he and the executive officer. In the case of a personalized tape, these users are of course one and the same person.
