Javafx mobile
Yesterday, February 12, 2009, Sun officially released JavaFX Mobile with the JavaFX 1.1 SDK.
With the new version of the SDK, you can create applications for mobile devices that support J2ME and JavaFX technology (among the major mobile manufacturing companies, only Sony Ericsson and LG Electronics are announced, sorry, but Nokia is not listed). The SDK includes its own separate from the usual WTK mobile javaFX emulator.
Also, JavaFX support is now available in NetBeans 6.5.

UPD: I found a mobile accelerometer test application written in JavaFx with code and instructions for compiling.
