MIT employees have developed a device that can turn any surface into a touchscreen.

With the miniaturization of computing devices that are constantly in our pockets, we always connect with the digital world. However, there is no connection between our interaction with these digital devices and the interaction with the physical world. WUW bridges this gap by juxtaposing the physical world around us with digital information and offering natural hand gestures as a mechanism to interact with that information. ”
